1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using ByMyHonor, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Use of the Service
ByMyHonor grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. Unless otherwise stated, you may not, and you agree not to:
- Copy, reproduce, modify, or create derivative works of the Service or any of its content
- Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service or collect user data
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software used by the Service
- Impersonate another person, entity, or user, or misrepresent your affiliation
3. User Accounts
To access certain features of our platform, you must register for an account. When you register, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Maintain the security of your password and identification
- Accept all responsibility for activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You may not create multiple accounts, transfer your account to another person without our prior written approval, or use another person's identity to register. Accounts created with false or misleading information may be suspended or terminated.
4. Honor Notes, Vouchers, Foot Prints, and Community Content
ByMyHonor allows users to create and share Honor Notes, Vouchers, Foot Prints, and other community content. When using these features, you agree to:
- Use these features only for legitimate, good-faith purposes
- Not create false, misleading, defamatory, or fraudulent content
- Not trade, sell, or compensate anyone to post, modify, or remove Honor Notes or Vouchers
- Respect the privacy and rights of other users
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Take responsibility for your own content — once posted, it may not always be withdrawn
We reserve the right to remove, edit, or reject any content that we believe, in our sole discretion, violates these Terms or our Content Guidelines.
5. Validation Score, Honor Score, and Account Validation
Your validation score and honor score are calculated based on various factors including account activity, community interactions, integrity metrics, and the outcome of our account validation process. These scores are proprietary to ByMyHonor and may be adjusted at our discretion to maintain platform integrity.
If you apply for account validation, you agree that ByMyHonor administrators may review documents and media you submit (such as photo IDs, utility bills, and validation workspace uploads). Administrators may mark each item as reviewed ("seen"), record which administrator performed the review and when, remove reviewed documents from your validation ticket, and assign or update your validation score when your validation is approved. An optional reason may be provided with your validation score. You will be notified when a validation score is assigned to your account.
You must provide accurate, truthful validation materials. False or misleading submissions may result in rejection of your validation request or suspension of your account. For complete terms governing validation review, see our Terms of Service.
6. Credits and Payments
Certain features, such as sending Vouchers, require platform credits. Credits may be purchased using supported payment methods, including credit/debit cards and select cryptocurrencies (such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, or Dogecoin). When you purchase credits, you agree to:
- Provide accurate payment information and confirm you are authorized to use the payment method
- Understand that cryptocurrency payments are processed at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of the quote and are subject to network fees and network confirmations
- Accept that credits are non-refundable, non-transferable between accounts, and have no cash value
- Keep records of your purchases; a receipt is available for every completed crypto credit purchase from your account
Credits are delivered to your account once payment is confirmed. We do not transfer credits between accounts.
7. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe upon the rights of others
- Transmit any harmful or malicious code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other users' accounts
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation
- Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Harass, threaten, stalk, or harm other users
8. Intellectual Property
The platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ByMyHonor and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you post, but you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.
9. Privacy Policy
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the platform, to understand our practices.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease. Account deletion requests follow our account countdown process as described in the Terms of Service.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. ByMyHonor makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall ByMyHonor or its suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption, arising out of the use or inability to use the Service, even if ByMyHonor or an authorized representative has been notified of the possibility of such damage. Our maximum aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in connection with the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or one hundred dollars ($100).
13. Changes to These Terms
ByMyHonor may revise these terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
14. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the applicable jurisdiction, subject to the dispute resolution provisions in our Terms of Service.
